“And I fell unto the ground and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And I answered, Who art Thou, Lord? And I said, “What shall I do, Lord?” (Acts 22:7-10).
We talked about the amazing testimony of the former Saul who became Paul when he met the Lord on the road to Damascus. Stopping him dead in his tracks, the Lord Jesus revealed Himself in a dramatic way to the persecutor-turned-preacher and arrester-turned-apostle. After settling the question of Who is the Lord Jesus, Saul then asked, “What shall I do, Lord?” It reminds me of a young boy who when he heard and understood the gospel, God spoke to his young heart through the Word of God and there never was a question again as to just Who is the Lord Jesus. For well over five decades, this older man still asks the Lord, “What shall I do?” The principle is, when the first question is settled, the second question should naturally follow.
For today: How are you doing on these two questions? May the Lord richly bless you dear friend.
