I will be very brief today. Thanks for reading Dr. Mike’s Daily Prescriptions. This is an encouragement to me as we start another year together. Think of what Joshua was told when changes were coming to his life.
“Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Johua 1:9).
Are you facing changes? So did Joshua.
Are the changes not necessarily what you would have chosen? They were also for Joshua.
Are there uncertain days ahead? So were some of the days for Joshua.
Are there battles ahead? So were there battles for Joshua.
Are there blessings in the promises God makes to you? Likewise, there were blessings for Joshua.

Come to think of it. You and Joshua have quite a bit in common. If you know Christ as your Savior, He is your God, and He is with you whatever you face this year.
