“I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise Him among the multitude” (Psalm 109:30).
Carly purposed in her heart that she was not going to remain silent among her friends at school. She was going to praise the Lord for various things and share them frequently. What a difference it made at her lunch table. At first she was ridiculed and mocked, but before too long several of her friends would sincerely ask, “So what has the Lord done since I saw you yesterday?” Carly was not overbearing, rude, or obnoxious. She had simply come to the conclusion that if this was good for King David, then it would be good for her. And it was!
For today: I don’t know how big your “multitude” will be, but as did King David and Carly, I know it will be good for us to praise the Lord with our mouths as well.
