“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has enabled me…who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy…and the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 1:12-14).
I wrote yesterday of those from the Book of Proverbs chapter one who willfully spurn the Lord and reject His good counsel. The sad result is that they will “Eat of the fruit of their own way.” Jason spoke of this as “eating a rotten lunch.” Thankfully, this does not have to be the final chapter of such a life. The prodigal son came to his senses and returned to his father. In our reading today, the precious Apostle Paul spoke of God’s mercy and grace which met him at his desperate condition and changed his heart, changed the direction of his life, and changed his life in amazing ways. This same grace and mercy can reach you and those you know. Please go to www.michaelpeck.org and click the E-Book “Heaven.” The Lord Jesus is real. His grace and mercy can still reach and change lives.
For today: Do you or someone you know and love need to hear the message of grace and mercy today? I surely do!
