You probably still have leftovers at your house.
Maybe your guests are staying one last night before they head home tomorrow.
Are you looking for a devotional thought that you could share sometime today with your household? Well, my friend, why not take them back to Psalm 100? I know I used these verse a couple of days ago. However, they provide such a wonderful reminder of how the Lord is changing our lives. After reading the five verses, think about this little outline.
1. Our adoration. “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands” (100:1).
2. Our attitude. “Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing” (100:2).
3. Our assurance. “Know ye that the LORD He is God: for it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture” (100:3).
4. Our Appreciation. “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name” (100:4).
5. Our acknowledgment. “For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations” (100:5).
For today: Even if you are a family of one today, what a great Psalm of thanksgiving indeed.
