“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ” (Ephesians 3:8).
I know that sometimes we look upon the men and women of the Bible as being super humans. Some think that the Apostle Paul is the greatest Christian of all time. Isn’t it interesting how he viewed himself? “Less than the least of the saints” is what Paul declared about himself. This is not false humility. It is the deepest level of honesty. When Hudson Taylor, the great missionary to China, was introduced at a conference as ‘our illustrious speaker’, Hudson’s first sentence was, “Dear friends, I am the little servant of an illustrious Master!” It is all about God’s grace operating in the life of one who loves Him and is willing to serve.
For today: May God’s grace be big in our lives and may our walk be genuine today.
