Well, my friends, I’ve studied God’s Word all of my adult life.

I want you to know that I absolutely, totally, with firm conviction, believe the verse that I am going to share with you today. I also want you to know that I absolutely, totally, with firm conviction, don’t grasp or fully understand everything about this verse today.

Ready?

“That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:7).

There is so much about Heaven and spending eternity with our great God that I find hard to fully comprehend. I truly believe what the Bible teaches, but it is hard to fully grasp the amazing grace of our great God. Some people teach that there is no more time in Heaven. Often that concept is based on Revelation 10:6 which speaks of “time no more.” This verse actually teaches that God’s judgment would not be delayed. There will be time in Heaven, but not as we know it today.

Time will be measured in ages, and during these ages God will show us His exceeding riches, grace, and kindness. Have you ever thought of that? It will take eternity for God to reveal the true measure of His amazing grace and goodness to us. Wow! Your good works, good efforts, and good intentions will never get you to Heaven. Trusting the Lord Jesus and His work of salvation on the cross is the way of salvation (John 14:6). He died and rose again the third day. Right now He offers to you His amazing gift of salvation. That is amazing grace, and the Lord throughout the ages of eternity will show us more and more about His wonderful grace!

For today: May I today walk, live, think, and speak as a child redeemed by His infinite grace. If you don’t know Him personally, please go to www.michaelpeck.org and click the banner Heaven.
