He was overwhelmed with the sorrow, hurt, and grief he felt that day. Turning the radio on to the Christian station, incredibly the hymn “No One Understands Like Jesus” was being aired. In his state of being heavy laden, he listened in amazement as the choir sang, “No one understands like Jesus, He’s a friend beyond compare. Meet Him at the throne of mercy; He is waiting for you there.” That’s just what he needed to hear and that was just what he needed to do. Immediately he traveled to the Lord’s throne of grace and mercy. Guess what? He found grace to help in his time of need. So will you!

For today: You aren’t trying to carry all your problems by yourself, are you, believer? The throne of grace is open, and He is waiting for you.
