“Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him” (Psalm 2:12).
Two Christian businessmen were traveling together by train. “You know Dan, I have struggled for years with my doubts and fears,” Steve said with a tone of sadness in his voice. Thoughtfully Dan smiled and told his friend, “At one time or another we all have experienced doubts and fears, I’m sure. But they don’t have to stay,” he continued. “When we boarded the train, you didn’t do an examination to determine that the brakes were in good working order. You didn’t ask the engineer to see his training papers. You didn’t want a report on the condition of the tracks. You simply got on and decided to enjoy the trip. I try to do the same with the Lord. While there’s much I don’t understand, each day I try to simply enjoy the trip and know that He knows what He is doing.” Steve sat back in his seat and said, “Thanks, man. I’ll try to remember that.”
For today: Trust the Lord. You will be blessed if you do!
