“We look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Philippians 3:20).

Many years ago it was a little after three o’clock in the morning as my wife and I waited for our train to arrive in Elyria. We would be traveling to Syracuse, New York. Was it ever dark outside in the dead of night! I kept watching for that light of the train to appear. “Where is that train?” I thought to myself. “Why is it taking forever for that train to come?” I impatiently thought. I stared down the tracks as I assured my wife that the train would be here before we knew it. Finally! A small light way down the tracks appeared and grew larger and larger. What a sweet sight that engine and passenger cars were to me as they rolled into the station! It reminded me then, and I have thought of it often, that the same way I watched and waited with eager expectation for that train, I also should be watching and waiting for my Lord in the Rapture.

For today: I am looking for the Lord today. How about you?
