Think of this wonderful Scripture verse with me.
“Feed the flock of God which is among you” (1 Peter 5:2).
Two preachers were emailing each other mid-week before the Lord’s Day. They were sharing what their messages were about the next Sunday.
“So what are you preaching on, Winston?” asked Lenny. “I’m always up to stealing a good outline,” he continued teasing.
“Listen, you old friend, you couldn’t afford my outlines!” Winston bantered back with his longtime friend. Winston continued, “Seriously, here’s my outline.
We rejoice in at least three things.
First, we rejoice in the greatness of God’s grace (1 Corinthians 15:8-10).
Second, we rejoice in the opportunities that come from obstacles (Philippians 1:12-14).
Last, we rejoice in the power that comes from partnership (1 Corinthians 3:6-9).”
Lenny replied, “You know, dear friend, it is not only very preachable, it is just what I need personally. Thanks for ministering to my heart today.”
Aren’t those three things just what we need as well? How is it for you? I know that these three things are just what we need every day of our lives.
