As those who have trusted Christ as our own personal Savior, we daily are mindful of the incredible price that the Lord Jesus paid to take our place and pay the penalty of our sins. We daily rejoice in His glorious and victorious resurrection. Daily! But there is something that is hard to explain to the world’s people about the meaning of this time of year. It is not until they personally accept the truths of the gospel and trust Christ that they can begin to comprehend the incredible grace of our God.

We are in the week that is approaching Easter Sunday. Linger with me on this wonderful verse. It may have been one of the first verses you memorized as a new Christian.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

It’s only Wednesday, but Sunday is coming! Let’s worship our precious Redeemer and living Lord.
