“God shall bless us: and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him” (Psalm 67:7).
The family started the countdown until their long awaited trip to Grandmother’s home. The airline tickets were purchased, and in just six weeks the family would travel the nearly 7,000 miles to see loved ones that were very dear to them. Tim, the youngest of the family, expressed it for everyone the night he clutched his hair and screamed, “I don’t think I can wait. I am going to blow up!” Everyone laughed and Dad assured him that he wasn’t going to blow up. Later that evening, the Kenward couple talked about the anticipation everyone was feeling. Mom remarked, “You know, Tim’s statement about not being able to wait, well that is just how I feel about the Rapture. Sometimes I just feel like I cannot wait. What a glorious day that will be when we meet the Lord in the air and we will be with Him forever!” Dad assured her that he was excited about it too. “Just hope you don’t’ blow up,” he teased.
For today: I am watching for His coming in the clouds. Today might be the day!
