Yesterday we thought about what our precious brother, the Apostle Peter, wrote. He reminded us, “Casting all our care upon Him, for He careth for you” (1 Peter 5:7).

The question is, “How do I ‘cast’ my cares upon Him?” Come with me, and let’s see what the Lord says to us in the Word.

This gives us joy today: “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in times of need” (Hebrews 4:15-16). Think of the blessings!

He understands us.
He invites us to come boldly.
He guarantees us that His precious mercy and powerful grace will help us in time of need.

Literally, bring your fears, temptations, heartaches, disappointments, and every kind of perplexity to Him. While others around you might mean well as they say, “I know just how you feel,” He TRULY knows EXACTLY and INTIMATELY how you feel and what you are facing. What joy this brings to the believer who follows the Lord Jesus and comes to the throne of grace!
