What powerful words of conviction and belief.

Surely these must have been spoken by the great commander of the children of Israel, Joshua himself, right? Nope!

Well, these must have been spoken by the High Priest, right? Nope again!

These were the words of Rahab the prostitute of Jericho.

This observation in no way is intended to condone her previous lifestyle. It is to point out how awesome is the power of the message that our great God is also our Sovereign God. He changes lives! He certainly did quite a work in the life of Rahab. I want to communicate the same conviction and belief in my actions and speech today. How about you? I want to demonstrate the changed life.

For today: Here’s a closing question. How many people around me today will know that I believe in and am fully persuaded that I belong to the true and living God?
