“And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour” (Luke 1:46-47).

I suspect that Mary often is not regarded properly. I believe that she is a dear sister in the faith who we shall see someday. Our friends in the Catholic church have elevated her to a place that I know she would not want to be. On the other hand, sometimes we ignore her to the point that we do not appreciate her testimony. This precious young teenager quickly and fully yielded herself to the plan that was revealed to her.  She burst into praise, magnifying the Lord and rejoicing in God Who would be her Saviour! What a good thing for us to do today–magnify God and rejoice in Him.

For today: May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable to Him.
