Two Big Appointments
Good Sunday Evening! Karen and I hope you had a great day in the worship services of your local church. Karen and I slipped in (Thanks George and Jane for saving seats for us!) for the worship service this morning. It was wonderful worshipping with the family of the Lord. Rachel sang this morning in the service. That made it even a greater blessing to us.
We have two very important appointments this week. Tomorrow morning at 10:00 we meet with the vascular surgeon to discuss the removal of Karen’s pleurX catheter. We would be thrilled if this could safely come out. However, we want to be sure that this is the time to remove it. We surely don’t want to get into a situation where it would have to be put back in.
Then on Tuesday morning, Karen is scheduled for a scan to see if the mass is responding to the chemo-therapy. Part of me is eager for this. Part of me is dreading this. We truly appreciate your prayers and want you to know that we really sense your fellowship with us on the journey.
