The Scan Results Are Back

Tuesday May 5, 2015 Update

Many folks tell me that they love coming to the updates and reading about Karen. Hundreds have made the decision to join us on this part of our journey. Often I am thanked for the updates. Believe me, it is my pleasure. I love to write. I obviously love Karen and I truly the Lord. It is a joy to write about what the Lord is doing on this journey with cancer.

You have been waiting for the results of the scan. Thank you so much for your concern. The Oncology office called just a few moments ago. I texted each of my children first with the results, and now I wanted to let you dear friends know.

THE MASS AFTER JUST TWO TREATMENTS HAS SHRUNK BY 15%!!!!!

This is wonderful news. We are celebrating. Our clinical nurse is a believer and is praising the Lord with us. If the results were not good I would want to trust the Lord and praise Him for His faithfulness. But I can tell you that it was a joy to hold my Karen in my arms and thank the Lord for this good news.

We know that it is a long road ahead and there will be hard days. But today is a good day. A really good day!

This Friday she has round # 3 of the big gun chemo-therapy. I’ll write more later this week. For now thank you again for praying.
