“That you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10).
The Apostle Paul prayed an interesting prayer for the folks living in the area of Colosse. He asked the Lord to help them to walk worthy, live in a pleasing manner, be fruitful, and learn more about Him. Isn’t it interesting what folks pray for? Some folks act like the Lord is a mail order clerk just waiting to get their call so that He can run and fill their order. I’ve been interested in listening to people pray over the years. There’s power in praying Scriptural prayers. When was the last time you prayed such a prayer as found in Colossians 1:10? I need to do this today. How about you?
For today: Pray big! Your awesome Lord is listening!
