“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers” (Ephesians 1:15-16).

The Apostle Paul was absolutely thrilled with the report of the faithfulness and fellowship of the Ephesian believers. What good news it was to the dear Apostle. When they came to his mind, a note of thanksgiving took place. What a great example they are to us today. We need to live in such a way that when folks think about us, they too will be thankful for our faith and love.  Literally, others ought to give thanks to the Lord when we come to their minds.

For today: Live in such a way as to cause others to give thanks. What a challenge this is to us all.
