“Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept Thy Word” (Psalm 119:67).
“Wow, Marvin! I want to tell you that the Lord surely has my attention,” Scott said from his hospital bed. “My wife has been speaking to me about the Lord. I used to walk pretty faithfully with Him, Marvin, but things happened. I allowed things to happen. I took my eyes off the Lord and was a pretty self-sufficient man. What a fool I’ve been. I want you to know that I’ve come back just like the young prodigal son. Thank so for praying for me all these months, Marvin,” Scott humbly said. It was a great conversation in the hospital that day. How is it with you, friend? Is the Lord trying to get your attention? The Psalmist knew the joy of keeping His Word after earlier going astray.
For today: It is so wise to walk humbly and joyfully with our amazing God. How greatly He desires your fellowship.
