The men’s breakfast would soon convene at the local diner. Frank and Al always arrived early and would be working on their second cup of coffee by the time the rest of the men arrived. “I hope our next president will stand firmly for Israel,” Frank said. “I just have the feeling that the United States isn’t as good a friend to Israel as we used to be,” he continued. “I’m with you, old friend. I remember when Israel could count on us. I know that the promise made to Abraham still stands. I really believe that those who curse Israel will be cursed and those that bless Israel will be blessed,” Al said as he accepted his third cup of coffee. How about you? Do you pray for the peace of Jerusalem and blessing of God upon Israel?
