The Pet Scan Results are Back!

An Update on Karen April 13th, 2016

Thank you so very much for praying. The Lord has helped us as we awaited the results of the PET scan taken last Friday. We have been encouraged by His Word and His peace during the days of waiting. God’s people have also been kind in their words of friendship and encouragement. Today we met with our Oncologist who gave us the result of the PET scan.

It is good news. I mean it is very good news. The cancer has not traveled. It is still confined to the mass in her lung. That is absolutely wonderful news. However, the good news doesn’t stop there. The size of the mass is still the same in her lung. However, the intensity of the cancer activity has decreased within the mass. This is even further great news. We will most likely be meeting with an Oncologist in Radiation for consultation. Karen is doing so well they don’t quite know what to do with her!

Thank you so much for praying for us. She resumes chemotherapy tomorrow and will continue on chemo until there is a decision about further treatment. We know that our great God is doing something very special as He works out His plan for my Karen. You are very special to us and we thank you so much for traveling along with us on this journey.
