“That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without” (1 Thessalonians 4:12).
“Do I know Hank Bloomingdale? I surely do,” the burly mechanic said. “Mind you, I’m no Christian, at least not yet. But Frank, he goes to the church just up the road a bit. He’s the most honest, humble, and finest man I know,” he continued. He and the auto parts man were speaking briefly about a man they both might know. “I’ll tell you honestly,” the mechanic said, “there’s something really different about Hank. His life matches what he says about the Lord. I respect him. I really do,” he concluded. What a great testimony Hank had with both of the men. That’s just how it ought to be with each believer. Those around us who do not know our Savior should be able to see that there is something different about us and of course that difference is Christ.
For today: How will your testimony impact others today?
