“For our light affliction which is but for a moment” (2 Corinthians 4:17).
Paul the Apostle certainly had more than his share of troubles and trials. His life and ministry were marked by severe persecution and hardship. Yet he speaks of all this as light affliction and very temporary. This is not Paul in denial. It is Paul in focus! When measured through the grid of eternity, his affliction is little and the duration of his problems are short.
For today: Think of this truth. A great day is coming when everything will be changed forever.
