“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also (John 14:3). We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8).
It was just one year ago today that my dear wife Karen went Home to be with the Lord. I know that so many of my friends pray often for my family and me. I cannot begin to tell you how much your love and prayers really mean. I honestly had never known before the depths of the emotional pain that one experiences when his or her spouse goes to be with the Lord. I can tell you just as honestly that I cannot begin to tell you how I rejoice to know where Karen is, how Karen is, and with Whom Karen is. Knowing as Savior the risen Christ makes an eternity of difference. Thank you again for your prayers. If you are not sure about what it means to know Christ, would you please go to my website, www.michaelpeck.org and click “Heaven” on any page?
For today: With the living Savior my wife shall ever be. Some great day I’ll join her. This brings joy to me! Please take a moment to visit my website and read the new feature, “Karen’s Notes.” Every Wednesday I will share some notes that Karen wrote as Scripture impacted her life. I know what some of the first articles will be. I believe they will encourage you greatly.
