“I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen…” (Revelation 1:18).
Whatever you are facing today, a glorious truth is written over all it. That truth is that Christ is alive. He’s alive forevermore. His sacrifice was sufficient once and for all. There is no other Savior. He alone must be trusted. He alone is worthy of your worship. I wrote these words years ago in a publication I was writing. I believed them then. I believe them now. Karen and I are so glad that we belong to the Lord who overcame death. He is alive. I cannot begin to tell you what it means to me today to remember that the living Lord of all is the One Who saves us, holds us, and helps us. How will this play out in your life today?
For today: In a world of death, decay and disappointment, be alert for the opportunities you will have today to trust the living Savior!
