“…Thou art the God of my salvation…Good and upright is the LORD” (Psalm 25:5b, 8a).
The view was spectacular. The setting sun vividly splashed the unique hand of its Creator. Jim and Ruthie sat on the deck of their rented cottage which overlooked the small lake. It had been just a few months since Jim placed his trust in Christ. Ruthie had nearly given up hope of her husband’s salvation. Now there sat Jim, of all things, holding his open Bible after having devotions with her that night. Her silent thoughts were words of worship to the Lord. “You truly are the God of my salvation and now the God of Jim’s salvation. Good and upright are you, LORD!” she lifted to the Lord. How will this verse play out in your life?
For today: Be watching for the ways that the God of your salvation will demonstrate once again today that He is good and upright.
