“My substance was not hid from Thee, when I was made in the secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect…  How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them” (Psalm 139:15-17).

When King David penned these words, he knew very little about the prenatal development of babies.  He knew that the Creator LORD God observed the baby developing, and he was thrilled for the way God planned this incredible blessing. Today, it is very different.  We know much about the unborn baby.  We have looked in wonder at the incredible pictures of that little unborn human being developing in his mother’s womb.  It absolutely breaks my heart that in our beloved country there would be medical doctors who would violently murder these unborn citizens.  The latest video of the medical personnel of Planned Parenthood talking about her harvesting of body parts as she nonchalantly ate her salad for lunch is reprehensible and disgusting.  May God have mercy on this beloved country of ours.  We who love children have much for which to be praying.

For today:  Aren’t you glad that our great God watched over you in the months before you were born?
