“Been a Hard Day. Need Your Prayers!”
Monday June 29th, 2015 Update on Karen
It seems to hit her more after the weekend. Even though she is no longer getting the “big guns” chemotherapy, she still is getting very heavy medicine. Today has been a difficult day. Fortunately it is not as difficult as it would have been on the “big guns.” This is the medication that she will need to have every twenty-one days. The infusion takes less than an hour (so different from the six hour infusions she experienced the last four times.)
Earlier Karen and I read some Scripture together which spoke of Christ’s promise never to leave us. He said, “Lo I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20). It is a wonderful privilege to be part of the family of the Lord. We are so very blessed. Our family and friends love us and care about our situation. Your cards and emails are such an encouragement. Thank you so much for your prayers and kindness to us.
We want our readers to know for sure that our confidence in the Lord is not shaken. We truly do believe what Nahum reported thousands of years ago. Without any shadow of doubt we believe that “God is good. He’s a stronghold in the day of trouble. He knows those who trust in Him” (Nahum 1:7). Do you know the Lord Jesus personally?
