The Night Before Christmas
The Night Before Christmas ‘Tis the night before Christmas, and all through my house No creature is stirring, neither my cat nor that mouse! My children asleep, lovingly tucked in their beds, With visions of Christmas gifts swirling in their heads. I’m nearly exhausted, but with one more to wrap, I moan with a […]
Devotional Moments on Thanksgiving Day
Devotional Moments on Thanksgiving Day
What a wonderful time to share a little time in God’s Word with your family and friends on Thanksgiving. Some folks would like to do this; but do not know where to begin. Here is a suggestion that you are welcome to use. Psalm 100 is a great portion to read. An outline of this Psalm includes the following:
1. Our adoration (100:1)
2. Our attitude (100:2)
3. Our assurance (100:3)
4. Our appreciation (100:4)
5. Our allegiance (100:5)
T is for my thankfulness, the Lord is good to me.
H is for my Home in Heaven, with Him I’ll ever be.
A is for my attitude, may I be filled with praise.
N is for my new life, my song of joy I’ll raise.
K is for my kindness, to the dear folks that I know.
S is for my service, by my life the dear Lord show.
G is for my graciousness, I need Him every hour.
I is for my instruction, I want to know His power.
V is for my victory, Christ wins the final war.
I is for my intentions, He’s the One that I adore.
N is for my nearness, to the Lord would I daily live.
G is for my glory, to God in Heaven I gladly give.
Following this, it would be great to give your family and friends the opportunity to share some things for which they are thankful.

Now That’s Faith!
Faith is knowing my Father and depending so fully upon Him that I am able to trust when I cannot see, believe when I cannot understand, and obey when the situation doesn’t make sense to me.
