I probably am the most unathletic person you have ever met! Can you believe I married a beautiful athletic lady? Only the Lord could have arranged this! As the athlete, Karen enjoyed many sports and knew that with every sport, there are rules of the game to be followed. She used this illustration in a really creative way. When we were younger, Karen really enjoyed running. Often in her Bible study notes to herself or the conference worksheets that she would use in her ladies’ conference, she would go back to the image of running.
