The Gathering Place Where Family Matters

Over the next few weeks, I am looking back over the dozens and dozens of “Karen’s Notes” that I’ve posted. From these I am going to once again share several with the hope and prayer that the Lord will bless as He did when it was first published on February 20th, 2019. This is perhaps the most often shared and had the greatest of responses.

From these I am going to once again share several with the hope and prayer that the Lord will bless as He did when it was first published. As Karen’s illness grew greater, her words became fewer. But her family and I can testify that her trust in the Lord became even stronger and her confidence in God’s sovereignty grew deeper. This week, rather than going to her Bible study journal, I am actually holding her Bible and looking at a text that blessed her heart and life. She wrote only three words in the margin. However! These words bless me and remind me of the importance of having a Biblical perspective. These three words demonstrate the precious and powerful impact that knowing Who God is really has even in the most difficult of circumstances. 

I am going to share something with you today about Karen. Perhaps it is something that you didn’t know about her. What I am going to share with you about her will show up in many of her conference teachings. Thanks for stopping by today and may the Lord bless and encourage you.
