The Gathering Place Where Family Matters

Every so often I will pick up Karen’s Bible. Many verses are either highlighted or underlined. She occasionally wrote a note in the margin of her Bible. Those who know her will testify that she was a lady of few words who could briefly summarize the right course of action. Thank you for stopping by. I would say without a shadow of doubt, it was one of her favorite topics to use in her workshops. You have read of it often in “Karen’s Notes” on Wednesdays. When we would have our daily couple’s devotions, she often thanked the Lord for it. And I have been an eyewitness to the many times that Karen extended it in our ministry, marriage, and home.

It has been a joy and privilege this past month to open one of Karen’s conference notes where she spoke to ladies on a Friday night and twice Saturday morning. The theme that she was invited to develop was “Peace in Troubled Times!” In this seminar she developed the foundational truth that peace comes as we fully trust Him.
