The Gathering Place Where Family Matters

As we celebrate Easter in a few days, think of what He accomplished on our behalf. What a privilege and joy to know Him, love Him and become transformed from the inside out.

It is powerful to hear the witness of a dear lady who is now Home with the Lord when she writes of how she wants to be remembered.

Five years ago right now, Karen was in her last days before she went Home to be with the Lord. Some of the last things she whispered to me reflected what she wrote twenty years earlier. Thanks for stopping by today and may the Lord richly bless and encourage you.

Every so often I will pick up Karen’s Bible. Many verses are either highlighted or underlined. She occasionally wrote a note in the margin of her Bible. Those who know her will testify that she was a lady of few words who could briefly summarize the right course of action. Thank you for stopping by. Karen loved it and spoke of it often.

I would say without a shadow of doubt, it was one of her favorite topics to use in her workshops. You have read of it often in “Karen’s Notes” on Wednesdays. When we would have our daily couple’s devotions, she often thanked the Lord for it. And I have been an eyewitness to the many times that Karen extended it in our ministry, marriage, and home.
