As Karen’s illness grew greater, her words became fewer. But her family and I can testify that her trust in the Lord became even stronger and her confidence in God’s sovereignty grew deeper. This week, rather than going to her Bible study journal, I am actually holding her Bible and looking at a text that blessed her heart and life. She wrote only three words in the margin. However! These words bless me and remind me of the importance of having a Biblical perspective. These three words demonstrate the precious and powerful impact that knowing Who God is really has even in the most difficult of circumstances.
