The Gathering Place Where Family Matters

I surely miss her! As I’m writing this edition of “Karen’s Notes,” I have before me one of Karen’s Bibles and her Bible study journal with her own handwritten notes. She had been reading and doing a brief study through the book of James. I am delighted to share the brief notes she wrote one day.

Karen (and I as well) took serving the Lord very seriously. She consistently guarded her heart and sought to be living out the truth that she shared with others. In her Bible study journal, Karen wrote out a few observations about standing for the Lord and serving Him through His strength. I enjoyed seeing her handwritten notes and was also encouraged. I hope you will be as well. Let me share the Scripture text where I found these notes.

I came across a set of Karen’s handwritten notes for a ladies’ retreat held many years ago. She was to speak to a group of ladies who were no doubt very busy. I’m not sure just who assigned her the topic. However! It was to be given to folks who were juggling a very busy schedule. Does that sound like you? I thought so. This is great for men and ladies!

“Karen’s Notes” has become one of the busiest days on my website. I have appreciated the amazing responses of how the Lord, in His sovereignty, has caused her few notes to arrive just at the right time in places throughout the world. I am not sure what you are facing today. But think of what Karen wrote and see how it applies to you or someone that you love.
