The Gathering Place Where Family Matters

Let me take you to one of her favorite passages and then I’ll share her notes with you for today

God’s Word is so personal and powerful. How awesome is our God in all of His ways. He not only spoke the word and the vast galaxies were instantly created; He also cares about His people individually. He knows our frailty. He understands us. He is well aware of how we act and the way we speak. This to me is really powerful. Welcome to “Karen’s Notes” for today.

“Karen’s Notes” for today are based upon a message I preached many years ago. I love her personal comments along with the outline I wrote. I hope you will be encouraged as you read and share her notes today.

After praying this morning for so many people that I will never visit in person, I thought of something that I knew I shared a long time ago from Karen’s Bible study journal. I found it!

For a number of years, Karen had more and more requests to speak at ladies’ events. She had a way of balancing being my wife, the mother of our children, the pastor’s wife at church, a good friend to many as well as a conference speaker. She somehow did all this without appearing to be frazzled. Let me share some Scripture she was reading and her very, very brief entry.
