The Gathering Place Where Family Matters

As I read again the many conference notes she prepared in her days of health and public speaking, one of the reoccurring themes seem to be “Trust the Lord in the good days, so that when the hard days come, you will have the matter settled as to trusting Him.”

People in the United States seem to always be busy! We crowd so many things into our schedules that many folks are on a mad dash from the time they awaken until they collapse on their bed for sleep. Karen was a busy person. Yet she was committed to her “looking up time!”

Sometimes in the busiest of moments it is extra important to stop, reflect, and remember what the Lord desires. Let me take you in Karen’s Bible study journal to a very brief thing that she wrote about the attitude of gratitude.

It is amazing as well as a great blessing to hear from people after they’ve read “Karen’s Notes.” Some have known her for years and others who have never met her feel like they know her well. I have been blessed to read what she entered in her Bible study notebook. I hope that you will be blessed as well.
