The Gathering Place Where Family Matters

Karen’s Bible study journal contains her handwritten notes of things that she thought through as she read God’s Word. In typical Karen style, she wrote a few brief notes that I am so blessed and thrilled to share with you. These were written on March 13, 2013

As I was leafing through her Bible study journal, I discovered she was spending some extra time reading in the Psalms. She seems to have stopped at Psalm 145:3 and thought quite a bit about the greatness of the Lord. Everything the Lord revealed about Himself in this particular verse was wonderful to her. But she lingered on the thought of God’s mercy. It was like she pulled up, stopped and camped on this word.

I discovered something interesting in one of Karen’s Bible study journals. She apparently paused at Isaiah 41:10 and thought a little about this amazing security of belonging to the Lord. Her notes are short and sweet!

Karen wrote several things that she wanted to do when facing overwhelming situations. I think you will enjoy them. She uses the word “WHAT”

I need to dare to be different because I am a stranger and sojourner here.
