We are on the countdown until Christmas.

It is a wonderful time of the year, but I also realize that it becomes an extra busy time of the year. So from now through Christmas, my Daily Prescriptions will be brief. I hope you will still invest your regular time in the Word. But these little encouragements will be shortened.

Our verse and a thought for today: “And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS” (Luke 1:31). We can never begin to comprehend everything that is contained in the name JESUS. Think of all that He accomplished to become our Savior. For those of us who know Him, there is no sweeter name than that of JESUS.
