Devotional Moments on Thanksgiving Day
What a wonderful time to share a little time in God’s Word with your family and friends on Thanksgiving. Some folks would like to do this; but do not know where to begin. Here is a suggestion that you are welcome to use. Psalm 100 is a great portion to read. An outline of this Psalm includes the following:
1. Our adoration (100:1)
2. Our attitude (100:2)
3. Our assurance (100:3)
4. Our appreciation (100:4)
5. Our allegiance (100:5)
T is for my thankfulness, the Lord is good to me.
H is for my Home in Heaven, with Him I’ll ever be.
A is for my attitude, may I be filled with praise.
N is for my new life, my song of joy I’ll raise.
K is for my kindness, to the dear folks that I know.
S is for my service, by my life the dear Lord show.
G is for my graciousness, I need Him every hour.
I is for my instruction, I want to know His power.
V is for my victory, Christ wins the final war.
I is for my intentions, He’s the One that I adore.
N is for my nearness, to the Lord would I daily live.
G is for my glory, to God in Heaven I gladly give.
Following this, it would be great to give your family and friends the opportunity to share some things for which they are thankful.
