PRESS Fund Update!”

Dear Friends,

We are so excited to share with you the latest PRESS Fund update! This is what the word PRESS represents in our missionary ministry:

PR stands for Professional Reimbursement. This covers the expenses of the ministry that can be reimbursed. The goal for the Professional Reimbursement is $1500.
E stands for Equipment. This would be the actual equipment to do our ministry as well as the cost of the website ministry. I am actually starting to save for the next laptop. I’m hoping this one will last another year or two. The website ministry is being professionally advertised this year. This is costly but necessary. I also support techPartner for the many ways that Chris Brown provides the technical help for my website. His work is invaluable to me. The goal for the Equipment is $3000.
SS stands for supplemental support. We are not in any way complaining but do want to explain to you that several of our significant supporters have dropped us due to their financial situations. Karen has retired from being the JOY Club director, so her salary of course is discontinued.  The goal for the Supplemental Support is $3000.

To us the goal of $7500 is a large amount of money. This year thirty contributors (four churches and twenty-six individual friends) supported the PRESS fund. Let’s have a little drum roll, please, as I announce that the goal was exceeded! The total contribution amounted to $7655.00! Thank you to our friends who stand with us in our ministry of reaching homes, families and churches around the world!

We truly feel like the Apostle Paul when he wrote, “For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things that were sent from you, an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God. But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:16-19). You, dear friends, are our “Epaphroditus.” We are the ones that desire fruit to abound to your account. Thank you so very, very much, dear friends. We truly appreciate your generosity.
