If you have been reading any of the books I’ve written, you have spotted it.
If you have listened to any sermon I’ve preached, or workshop I’ve taught, you will have spotted it.

What is it?
Very simply it is that I am in love with the Lord God and His Word. Let me share a couple of powerful verses with you and then I’ll explain what has happened to me once again.

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

This is no ordinary book. The Scriptures are inspired of God and contain sixty-six books. Here’s what happened to me again today. As I read from Psalm 12, it was like the verses were jumping off the pages of my Bible.

I know that I’ve read it many times before.
I know that I’ve studied it many times before.
I know that I’ve preached and taught it many times before.

But today, because it is given by inspiration, that passage so familiar to me really spoke to my heart. I’ll share with you more about this tomorrow. For today, however, I hope that you will read God’s Word. You’ll be glad that you did.
