For the next few days, let’s focus on one word and embrace the meaning as we think of the Lord. Today’s word of the day is FAITHFUL. Among its many meanings, the focus of this word today has the idea of “to be established, to stand firm.”
“Know therefore that the LORD thy God, He is God, the faithful God” (Deuteronomy 7:9).
“God is faithful by Whom you were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:9).
When our days are the very best that they could be, we need to remember God is faithful.
When our days are the very worst that they could be, we need to remember God is faithful.
When our hearts are filled with praise, we need to remember God is faithful.
When our hearts are filled with pain, we need to remember God is faithful.
When everything around us seems to be in upheaval, we need to remember God is faithful.
When we are at our lowest, our most frightened, our most desperate, find again the strength and encouragement of remembering that God is faithful. He is trustworthy. He stands firm and is just what we need in every circumstance of life.
Please remember: God is faithful.
