One last day on the “one another” passages of the Bible. I am coming back to a reminder that we have already thought about. The Lord Jesus spoke about the importance of our loving each other (John 13:34; 15:12). John never forgot those words. Let’s close out this little series with John’s reminder to love one another.

“For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another” (1 John 3:11).
“And this is His commandment, that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another as He gave us commandment” (1 John 3:23).
“Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God” (1 John 4:7).
“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us” (1 John 4:11-12).

There is no other way for me to word this.
There is no other way for me to better explain this.
There is no other way for me to apply this.

The Lord loves us. With His help and strength, we must love one another.

For today: How will the love of Christ flowing through your attitude and actions be seen today? I am challenged by my own question!
