“I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no Saviour” (Isaiah 43:11).
“You certainly are not very politically correct, Sarah,” an offended Maria said. “How dare you say that there is only one way to Heaven. We need to be inclusive. Every religion has equal worth,” Maria continued. “That’s just the problem,” Sarah replied. “Perhaps all the religions are of equal value. But that’s just it. I’m not speaking of religion, Maria. I’m speaking of relationship. Religion tries to make oneself acceptable to God by what man tries to do but fails! But relationship is based on what the Lord Jesus has done for us. He is the only Way to the Father and eternal life in the Father’s house, according to John 14:1-3.” Sarah tried to speak graciously with her friend but to no avail. It’s sad when people refuse to believe what God has clearly stated. He’s the LORD. Beside Him there is no Savior. That settles it for me. How about you?
For today: What a wonderful blessing to know Him and belong to Him. Have you trusted Him to be your Savior?
