“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ” (Ephesians 3:8).

Yesterday we thought of those two words “unseachable riches” as they relate to Christ. Literally, the Apostle Paul declared that he had the supreme privilege of preaching the amazing super-abundant, totally perfect and powerful Christ. His riches are beyond human comprehension.

The ancient Ephesian city was a place of prosperous, highly educated and cultured people. Some of the wealthiest citizens of the surrounding area lived in Ephesus. To these dear people, Paul spoke about genuine riches. The riches in Christ are beyond human comprehension. Paul expands on this amazing truth by proclaiming, “In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7). Friends, it is not that He is gracious occasionally. Our precious Savior is abundant and beyond description in His grace. As you go about your day today, stop often and think of your Savior. Join me in thanking Him for His abundant riches in grace!

For today: He is beautiful beyond description. The redemption we have in Him is because of the riches of His grace.
