“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:18).
Many times Paul the Apostle experienced suffering. I can’t imagine what he went through in the imprisonments, beatings, stonings, whippings, and the rejections he experienced. Yet he spoke of the sufferings of his present experience as not worthy of being mentioned in comparison to the glory that awaited him. That gives us lots to think about today, doesn’t it? Karen loved to think of the glory ahead when she was going through such difficult experiences. I’m loving to think as well about that glory. What a great reminder for each of us today. If we know Christ as our Savior, glory is ahead.
For today: Our problems and difficulties come into better perspective when we consider eternity and the glory that awaits us.
