“Make a joyful noise unto God all ye lands” (Psalm 66:1).

The next several days our Daily Prescriptions will come from Psalm 66. I hope that you love the Psalms as much as I do. What a blessing and encouragement they are! The Psalmist writes about the worthiness of our God in all His ways. He is worthy of worship on a worldwide scale. This worship is not like the drab, dreary, half-hearted, distracted thinking-about-other-things-that-pop-into-our-minds kind of worship that sometimes happens. He is worthy of the lifting of our voices in glad celebration of His majesty. Our God is awesome; therefore, we must make a joyful noise unto Him today.

For today: If you know the Lord as your Savior, may your worship of Him be sweet today and wonderful tomorrow as you go to church!
